Service Policies
Clear expectations help mobile service go smoothly. These policies explain how service requests, locations, scheduling, payment, and authorization are handled. Service-specific estimates and written authorizations will provide additional details when they apply.
Hours and Availability
Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday: Call for availability.
Sunday: Closed.
Holidays: Call for availability.
New weekday service requests may be accepted at our discretion from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Saturday appointments and unscheduled calls are accepted only by confirmation.
A call or submitted request does not guarantee availability, acceptance, dispatch, an arrival time, diagnosis, repair, or completion.
Service Area
Our standard consumer service area is centered on Noble and currently includes Noble, South Norman, downtown Purcell, Lexington, and Slaughterville. Every address remains subject to route, safety, and service-capability verification before payment or dispatch.
For accepted locations outside the standard service area, the current extended-area charge is:
-
$30 through the first 10 one-way road miles beyond the standard area
-
$80 total for 11-20 one-way road miles beyond the standard area
-
$130 total for 21-30 one-way road miles beyond the standard area
Requests beyond 30 miles are evaluated individually and may be declined. Fringe and boundary addresses remain subject to reasonable review.
Included service pricing covers outbound deployment. Return travel is not billed separately.
Safe and Suitable Work Locations
Scheduled maintenance, oil service, cleaning, extended diagnosis, and repairs involving tools, fluids, lifting, or prolonged vehicle access normally require approved private property.
Suitable locations may include a private driveway or garage, a private lot where the customer has authority, a farm, or another location approved in advance. Customers are responsible for confirming that vehicle service is permitted at the requested location. Apartment and managed-property customers may need permission from property management.
Public parking lots, retail lots, bank lots, general commercial lots, and employee parking areas are not automatically suitable for extended work.
Public parking lots or workplace visits may be appropriate for jump starts, brief no-start assessments, spare-tire assistance, or determining whether the vehicle should be referred to a towing provider.
We may decline, relocate, limit, or discontinue work when a location, vehicle, weather condition, traffic condition, or requested procedure is unsafe or unsuitable.
Service Requests and Acceptance
All service requests are subject to availability, location, vehicle or equipment condition, safety, supported service scope, required tools and information, schedule capacity, and technician acceptance.
We may recommend another provider when the requested work cannot be performed safely or responsibly with mobile equipment.
A request may be declined, limited, rescheduled, referred, or discontinued when conditions change or the work falls outside our supported capabilities. Acceptance of one request—or prior completion of similar work—does not obligate Just Call Dad AutoCare to accept a later request.
Estimates and Authorization
Known charges and the expected service scope will be explained before work begins whenever practical.
Additional diagnostic time, repairs, parts, materials, fuel, distance charges, or changes to the authorized work require customer approval before they are added.
Materially incomplete or inaccurate information about the vehicle, location, or reported condition may require a revised estimate, limited service, referral, rescheduling, or decline.
An assessment describes conditions observed within the authorized scope. It is not a guarantee that a vehicle is safe, that every fault has been identified, or that mobile service will produce a lasting repair. Written findings and service limitations will be provided when applicable.
Unstuck Prepayment and After-Hours Service
Defined Unstuck-package charges, known extended-area charges, and known after-hours charges are prepaid before deployment.
Prepayment purchases the defined response and service attempt described in the authorization. It does not guarantee a particular outcome.
A new Unstuck mobilization accepted during the weekday 6:00–8:00 p.m. intake window includes the established $79 after-hours mobilization fee, the applicable Unstuck-service package, and any separately authorized after-hours labor. Work accepted during regular hours that simply continues past 6:00 p.m. does not automatically receive the $79 fee.
Active mobilization begins when call-specific physical preparation starts, such as selecting, checking, or loading tools, equipment, or supplies for the accepted request. Once active mobilization begins, prepaid amounts are normally earned, subject to reasonable owner discretion.
If Just Call Dad AutoCare cancels because of an inability within its control, the applicable payment will be refunded or the service rescheduled.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
More than 24 hours before the appointment: The customer may receive one reschedule or a full refund.
Between 1 and 24 hours before the appointment: Refund or rescheduling treatment is determined at Dad’s discretion based on the circumstances and costs already incurred.
Within 1 hour of the appointment, no-show, or no access to the vehicle or approved work location: Payments are normally nonrefundable.
One complimentary reschedule is ordinarily allowed within 30 days. Reasonable exceptions remain at Dad’s discretion.
If Just Call Dad AutoCare cancels the appointment, the customer may choose an appropriate refund or reschedule.
Parts, Materials, Payment, and Additional Work
Parts, materials, fuel, taxes, extended-area charges, and additional services are separate unless the written estimate or service-package description expressly includes them.
Known required items should be quoted before the appointment whenever practical. Additional work will not be performed or charged without customer authorization.
Payment timing and instructions will be shown in the applicable estimate, authorization, or invoice. Please do not send payment until your request has been reviewed and payment instructions have been provided through an approved Just Call Dad AutoCare process.
